FALL BEGINNER BMX CAMP
Come learn how to bmx with some of our local experts.
Have you ever wanted to try BMX! 
It is the newest Olympic sport that lets each rider progress at your own pace. 
With BMX you never sit on the bench! Come learn the basic fundamentals and get pointers on how to race,
read a moto sheet and how the starting gate works. 
Parents come out and meet the track operators, trainers and our family of volunteers.
September 14th thru September 17th.
Freedom BMX in the Lowell Labor Day Parade.
This is an open invitation for everyone to bring there bike and come ride in the parade.
After the parade come back to the track for FREE practice.

FAMILY FUN DAY FUND RAISER
Was a Huge Success we raised $710.00 .
Bean Spitting contest , Disc Trowing Contest ,Bean Bag tournement, MOONWALK ,SMASH A CAR WITH A BAT !

Car Donated by Speedway Auto Yard in Chicago Hights !
Also a MOVIE in the park on big screen !
We want to thank the Midwest Donation program and Johnson plates for donating the prizes!

We raffled off a NEW HYPER COMPLETE Bicycle!

All proceeds go to help pay some medical bills for one of our volunteers who got hurt riding.

Sport Plus Bicycle shop is now out at the track and is a new track sponsor . They carry SE complete bikes,Avent Bombshell, Alienation Wheels and hubs, Bullseye Hubs and pedals, Expedo pedals, UNI seats. Bicycle and Wheel repairs available.

BMX SUMMER CAMP JUNE 2010.

The bmx camp thru the Lowell and Cedar Lake Park Departments was a Great sucess ! ! 32 new riders ! !

A huge THANKS goes out to all our trainers for voluntering  there hard work and spending time helping new kids learn the sport of bmx.

             

RACE FOR LIFE LEUKEMIA TOP FUND RAISERS:

Ronnie Skabinski he raised $440.00

Anthony DaCorte he raised $250.00

Andrew Fletcher he raised $205.00

All of these kids got a UNI SEAT and a goody bag of bike parts and stickers worth over $100.00 to up-date their bikes. Special thanks to UNI seats and Sports Plus for there donations !

2010 TRACK POINTS  INFO

Starting with the race on MAY 16 th 2010 , riders who race at FREEDOM BMX will be earning track points toward a special custom made number plate with your earned number on it to show your achievement.  Riders who finish 1st. through 3rd. in their group, and have raced a minimum of 10 races, will receive special number plates. The riders with perfect attendance(all races FRI. & SUN. ) will receive a special award.   

Perfect attendance starts on MAY 16th. 2010 .

The rider with the most track points overall will be crowned the overall track champion and will be awarded a custom made number plate to ride there District number.

Points are awarded as follows:
First place in the main event 18  Points
Second place in the main event 17  Points
Third place in the main event 16  Points
Fourth place in the main event 15  Points
Fifth place in the main event 14  Points
Sixth place in the main event 13  Points
Seventh place in the main event  12  Points
Eighth place in the main event 11  Points
Raced, but did not make the main 10  Points

GIRLS : 1st - 2nd - 3rd

CRUISER : 1st - 2nd - 3rd
