Teresa Does it again she earned REDLINE #1 CHAMPION for Open and Class. That makes it Redline champion for 8 years in a row.

CONGRATULATIONS !Goes out to our very own FLYING "T" Teresa Nowdomski for placing 2nd at the NBL Grand Nationals and finishing off the season N.A.G. #3.

We would like to Congratulate SHAWN QUINN for his move up to Intermediate , NICE WORK !


Freedom BMX in the Lowell Labor Day Parade. We took 1st. place in the float competition. Thank you for everyones hard work and to everyone who brang food for the pot luck lunch. Last count we handed out over 3,000 flyers to the spectators.

We had a FUN day at the track.
On the verge of rain mother nature held off and gave us one of the nicest days of fall to ride the track and hang out. Pizza was good and so was the company ! Thanks Everyone ! Photos in photo album.

Summer BMX Camp Had a special guest visit on Monday BMX OLYMPIC winner MIKEY DAY. Check out the 2009 photo page. The camp was offered thru the Lowell and Cedar Lake Parks Department.


Race To Help Our Neighbors ! Freedom BMX is helping keep local food pantries stocked. All items will be going to the Lowell and Cedar Lake Food pantries. Thank you to all who donated food. 

The lucky Winner of the Schwinn bicycle and the 50/50 went out to the Templin Family , Congratulations !


The Lowell Girl Scouts planted 2 trees and some flowers out at the track and made some great improvements to the park.
THANK YOU TO THE LOWELL POLICE DEPARTMENT, ARON SCHUHRKE STATE FARM, LOWELL PARKS DEPARTMENT AND ANNIE'S HOTDOG STAND. The kids had a great time being a part of the bike rodeo.  

 

The Race For Life went off on sunday. Top fundraiser Nicole Mirowski won a bag of goodies. Ceairra Brodrick was the second highest fund raiser and earned some great prizes. A special thanks goes out the Mirowski Family for donating a bike for us to raffle off. Sean Quinn was the winner of the awesome bike.

 


Some new improvements at the track for 2009 : BRAND SCAFFOLDING donated a set of stairs for our announcing tower. A huge Thank you goes out to them for there help we desperately needed them.

We also would like to Thank the CEDAR LAKE LITTLE LEAGUE for donating a set of bleachers, A special thanks goes out to every one who help with repairing them.

We now have a COVERED scoring deck, So the scorers can get out of the sun.

We would also like to Thank Leeps Plumbing supply for donating the pipe for our new drainage system and Engel Excavating for installing it.


Saturday May 2nd. Vintage BMX Gathering & BBQ . The 1st Annual Mongoose Classic hosted by Moosegoose Nick and Family was an awesome day. Great food Great People Great Fun ! More photos in our photo album.

The 2008 Track Championship Awards BBQ went great! Everyone brought a dish and had a good time. Photos are posted in the photo section. Alaina Freeman is the Overall Track Champion and the winner of the Girls class #1. Greg Parman won Boy's class #1, Amy Nowdomski won Girl's cruiser #1, and Matt Lake won Guy's Cruiser #1. Congrats to every one it was a great season !

A special THANKS goes out the Freedom Park board, Cedar Creek Trustee, West Creek Trustee, The Parman Family & all of the volunteers who helped out through the year! We could not have done it with out everyone's help !


THANK YOU BMXers!!! When we pull together we can do great things for our fellow racers during a difficult time! The flooding did a lot of damage to their home and every effort to help them makes a huge difference.

Freedom Bmx total raised: $575.00 WOW, way to go!

A Big thank you to Keller Williams Realty for a $200.00 donation. CSR's bake sale brought in $90.00.A Big thank you to the family for donating $100.00 plus the kids pooled their change also.That is awesome! Bake sale items were sold at Sunday's race and this brought in another $45.00!

Thank You to all the riders that came out to represent Freedom BMX at the annual Lowell Labor Day Parade. WOW, what a HUGE turn out of riders. The float was awesome and all the kids were great! Thank you to all the moms and dads that passed out 3500 flyers!
